The Hopton in Bloom Team would like to thank everyone involved in the Garden Trail on 10th July 2010.

We were very lucky again with the weather and for those of you who didn’t realise we had a lovely country smell at the top of the village. It didn’t seem to put anyone off though as people came from far & wide as well as locally (someone even asked me if we had arranged it).

Mirfield Reporter - Published Date: 02 August 2010

I WOULD like to thank the people who organised and contributed to the recent Hopton In Bloom Garden Trail.

They had a wonderful sunny day and hundreds of people turned out to look at the beautiful gardens, both large and small.

There was plentiful parking with helpful parking attendants, delicious refreshments and owners who welcomed us into their gardens with a friendly greeting.

Report from Planting Committee
Margaret reported that the summer planting was surviving well despite the weather.  She thanked everyone for watering and asked for comments on the planting. The tubs are to be re-planted for winter with possibly more daffodils.  Margaret asked for ideas/suggestions for the next meeting.
