Hopton In Bloom

Spring Judging Results 2010.

Upper Hopton is delighted to gain a Silver Gilt award in the Spring Medal position in their category for  Yorkshire in Bloom.

Judges Phil Young and Judith Baren visited Upper Hopton on April 20th 2010 and were impressed by the cohesion of the local community and how they work together for the good of the local In Bloom initiative.  They were also impressed with wildlife garden, the improvement in the area around the old chip shop, the planting in the rose garden and they thought St John's churchyard was well maintained.

Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to help us achieve this award. We look forward to the judges returning in July for the summer judging. New recruits are always welcome to join us.
